An Introduction and Explanation of Middlebury’s new Technologies, Meeting. October 3rd 2006 @ 7pm

Come attend an open house tour of Emerging Technologies that will demonstrate and help you learn how to use many of the Middlebury Public Library’s databases, Online Catalog, and other new technology services. Did you know that the Middlebury Public library offers Downloadable Audiobooks, InfoAnytime Reference Help 24/7, Readers advisor emails, and many other great services? We will review the databases that we subscribe to such as, EBSCO, an electronic journal subscription service and powerful research database, Reference USA, a comprehensive business database, and all of the databases offered by the Connecticut State Library through ICONN.org. It is advisable to attend this meeting as we will have sign-ups and a short description of future computer classes, including basic computer knowledge and advanced computer usage Sign-ups for computer classes will begin October 3rd after the meeting. No sign-up is necessary to attend this meeting but if you have any further questions please stop by or call 758-2634. This Meeting is set for October 3rd @ 7pm
